    Monday morning

Peter has pneumonia. Last night Gord, Egidio and I took him to the doctor at the ospedale, and this morning Egidio will pick up the antibiotics. In two days Peter should be on the mend. But working in that cold chiesa on an ice painting? No matter, he’s determined to stay.

    G action & slab.

This week, testing ice, machines and workflow is over, the real paintings must begin to be made. Gord pushes ahead, impatient with any impediments. The pressure is on: Showtime in 20 days!

Jaz and I walked from Mentoulles to the fortezza this glorious, sunny morning.
