Our crew had the day off today and the President of Piemonte visited the church. He announced he is coming to the inauguration!! Everyone here is very excited about this. Peter worked today, to make up for lost time when he was sick. We got locked into the fortress and had to climb the wall around the moat, under moonlight!

    P & G lift slab out.

When you look at the paintings, which are now all over the church, there is so much to see. You have to open your eyes and look at what is there. Gord is calling them “three dimensional paintings”. Today we talked about their temporal nature, we both felt regret that these lovely pieces will ultimately just melt down. Everyday the pours take yesterday's paintings a step further.

    color stacks 2.

At the end, we will film the dissolution of these paintings. Our discussion on the process from beautiful to destroyed. Young to old. Spring to winter. Our lives, in fact. That’s what it’s all about. Impermanence, change. Today we are walking the earth.

We found the shoes. They have been on the balcony, freezing, put there when Sylvia does the rooms.
